What we're working on

Currently we're starting to recruit contributers across all disciplines with a focus on those that can contribute specifically to building out the core of the mod, which is a basic skeleton of a working prototype to show people some progress / make it easier for more people to contribute.

You can see the items that are open to contribute to on Phase 1 of the roadmap.

What we've setup so far

Our site currently at https://lifeframework.lovable.app/ but soon moving to life-framework.org is our first release. More then just a website its a living breathing piece of software to help people contribute and ensure communication with the wider community on our progress and the help we need.

Website: the Life Framework Hub

This website isn't just a static page, its more so an Operating System that will help us:

1. Gather contributer talent
2. Develop and maintain a centralised and detailed roadmap
3. Build a complete set of documentation.

More then anything this is a place where our non-technical contributers can work together to keep things moving outside of the coding of the mod itself.

Contributer Sign Ups

To make it easy, we have a central form for those looking to contribute, the idea being that we collect as many potential conrtibuters as possible, assigning them simple first tasks, once they make their first contribution they can be added to our 'Contributers' list which will give them access to the Contributer Section in the Discord and also have them added to our site under 'Team'.

Roadmap Items

This page contains the roadmap items and allows us to adjust them and show their statuses, specifically highlighting where we are looking for contributers and helping make it easy for people to get involved and project manage what will be vast amounts of work across disciplines.

People with roadmap maintaince permission are able to make changes via our Contributer Portal, without the need for any website development experince:

Documentation

Documentation is a key part of any framework, we're not just thinking of this as developer documentation but documentation of all sorts including detailed scoping of new features, learnings from our development experinces, resources that we leverage.

It's a living breathing documentation hub that we all contribute to and allows non-technical contributers to help us scope items, document features in more digestable ways and contribute in more meaningful ways without having to understand tools such as github.

Right now it supports creating documents using a text editor (including pasting images) and heirarchys so that we can start to build out the nessasary documentation.

Discord: A place for Community and Contribution

We want to reward people for working on the framework, becuase this is open source and not commercially backed we want to reward people with praise and status in the community. We want to share their hard work and provide even more motivation for further contribution.

To facilitate this we're establishing a transparent heirarchy that's based on merit, roles based strictly on a users amount of contribution to the framework, whether they just updated a single document to wrote the entier economy core from scatch we want them to get praise.

What's next?

Right now we're working on the following and would love your help:

1. Building out the initial roadmap to get us to v1 and beyond, we'd love open discussions on the items, priotitisation and what's most important.
2. Looking activley for people that think they can contribute to items on the roadmap
3. Building a community around the project, we want to welcome the wider community to see what we're working on and build excitment & support for our contributers.
